Services

I provide full spectrum community midwifery care from fertility through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum. I work with families planning a home birth, as well as those planning to birth in hospital but who want to supplement their traditional prenatal or postpartum care with the connection and support of a holistic provider.

HOME BIRTH

  • Comprehensive Midwifery Care (pregancy + birth + postpartum + newborn care)

    • 1-hour prenatal visits monthly through 28 weeks, bimonthly from 28–36 weeks, & weekly from 36 weeks until birth

    • Continuous labor and birth support

    • Postpartum visits at day 1, day 3, day 7, week 2, and week 6

    • 24–7 on-call support from hire through 6 weeks postpartum

    • Labs, ultrasound orders, pregnancy/newborn screenings, birth certificate filing

    • Physical, mental and emotional support throughout your journey, holistic support for common pregnancy discomforts, nutrition and herbal discussions and guidance.

PRENATAL + POSTPARTUM CARE

For those planning a hospital birth, I provide prenatal and/or postpartum midwifery care in conjunction with your hospital provider. This type of care is for those who desire more comprehensive, holistic and personalized healthcare to help them take charge of their own health and pregnancy journey.

  • Everything but the Birth 

    • Prenatal appointments, according to the schedule outlined above. 

    • Once you are discharged from the hospital after your birth, you will be transferred back into my care for the postpartum period.

  • Just Prenatal Care​

    • Comprehensive prenatal care in preparation for your hospital birth.​

​

  • Just Postpartum Care​

    • Comprehensive postpartum care once you are discharged from the hospital after your birth.​

WELL BODY CARE

Well-body visits are all about you, your body, and your perinatal health. During this exam we will review your health history, provide information on fertility, birth control and offer STI testing. This exam may include a pelvic exam, Pap test, and breast/chest exam, as desired.

  • Head to toe physical exam

  • STI screening

  • Papsmear and HPV screening

  • Pelvic exam

  • Breast/chest exam

  • Perinatal+ sexual health counseling (ie. contraception options, fertility awareness and menstrual cycle charting, sexuality, healthy relationships, emotional health)

  • Pregnancy options counseling

  • Miscarriage + termination counseling
